چکیده
Fluorescent carbon quantum dots (CQDs) doped with heteroatoms are highly promising for diverse applications ranging from bioimaging to environmental sensing. However, the ability doping and functionalizing CQDs in a continuous, scalable, industry-relevant flow chemistry process, remains limited. Here we overcome this limitation by developing facile efficient method preparation of nitrogen phosphorus co-doped (NP-CQDs), using microflow reactors combined localized, energy-efficient heating ethanolamine phosphoric acid aqueous solution. The products characterized advanced microanalysis including fluorescence spectrophotometry, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), diffraction (XRD) measurements. results show ultrasmall fluorescent narrow size distribution were successfully prepared, where N P atoms proved be effectively into CQDs. reaction conditions continuous synthesis investigated, influence residence time temperature on obtained (particle size, distributions, intensity, bandgap energies, conductivity, lifetime) analyzed. This study is expected provide guidance controllable effective heteroatoms.

Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Quantum Dots as Fluorescent Probes for Sensitive and Selective Detection of Nitrite.
Nitrites are the upstream precursors of the carcinogenic nitrosamines, which are widely found in the natural environment and many food products. It is important to develop a simple and sensitive sensor for detecting nitrites. In this work, a fluorescence probe based on nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (N-CQDs) was developed for the sensitive and selective determination of nitrites. At pH 2, t...
متن کاملFacile synthesis of water-soluble and biocompatible fluorescent nitrogen-doped carbon dots for cell imaging.
A simple, facile and green hydrothermal method was developed in the synthesis of water-soluble nitrogen-doped carbon dots (N-CDs) from streptomycin. The as-prepared N-CDs displayed bright blue fluorescence under the irradiation of UV light, together with a high quantum yield of 7.6% and good biocompatibility as demonstrated by the cell viability assay. Thus, the N-CDs can be used as fluorescent...

متن کاملSynthesis of Pyridinic-Rich N, S Co-doped Carbon Quantum Dots as Effective Enzyme Mimics
N and S co-doped carbon quantum dots (N, S-CQDs) with high N- and S-doping level were synthesized by microwave solid-phase pyrolysis within 50 s. Owing to the dominant pyridinic N injection into the conjugated framework, both high enzyme mimics catalytic activity and photoluminescence quantum yield are achieved simultaneously.
متن کاملSynthesis of Nitrogen and Sulfur Co-doped Carbon Dots from Garlic for Selective Detection of Fe(3.).
Garlic was used as a green source to synthesize carbon dots (CDs) with a systematic study of the optical and structure properties. Ethylenediamine was added into the synthesis to improve the photoluminescence quantum yield (PL QY) of the CDs. Detailed structural and composition studies demonstrated that the content of N and the formation of C-N and C=N were critical to improve the PL QY. The as...
